Many aspects of our lives have been impacted by the global pandemic. Now, it is more crucial than ever to explore new partnerships, navigate emerging opportunities, and reconnect with our community in the region. On August 19, the HKUST Alumni Entrepreneurs Gathering was successfully held at the Science Park for our alumni and student entrepreneurs.
After Professor Wei SHYY, President of HKUST, gave his welcome remarks, Mr Albert WONG, CEO of Hong Kong Science & Technology Parks Corporation and Dr SC KIM, Acting Associate Vice-President (Knowledge Transfer) of HKUST, shared the latest entrepreneurial developments and how the University provided support for entrepreneurs and their businesses.
The event was attended by over 200 aspiring entrepreneurs from HKUST. Other like-minded peers shared their startup ventures, exchanged ideas and explored new opportunities ahead. Around thirty entrepreneurs also showcased their products during the event.
The event highlights the University’s commitment and efforts in supporting the next generation of entrepreneurs and fostering an innovative and entrepreneurial culture in our community.
