Mediation is a voluntary and confidential process for resolving disputes between parties with facilitation of a neutral mediator. The mediator assists the disputing parties in finding mutually acceptable solutions to their disputes. Mediation is getting more important in business as it promotes win-win solutions and is considered more cost-effective compared to litigation.
On June 1, our Kellogg-HKUST EMBA alumnus Winston Siu, Chairman of G2G Mediation Centre Limited, conducted an introductory workshop for fellow business alumni. The stimulating workshop covered the general concept, application and benefits of mediation.
Winston is an accredited commercial mediator as well as a CEDR (Centre for Effective Dispute Resolution, London) trained mediator assessor. Prior to being a mediator, Winston was in senior management for private and public companies.
