Continuous learning and professional development are our value propositions for our alumni. We organize regular alumni panel discussions and industry talks by our senior alumni executives throughout the year.
In response to a latest consultation report on measures to counter base erosion and profit shifting (BEPS) by enterprises released by the government, we organized a lunch seminar entitled “Tax Development in Hong Kong on Base Erosion and Profit Shifting - Common Issues & Consideration” on Nov 30, 2017. The keynote speaker, Victor Lee, is our accounting alumnus graduated in 1998, currently Tax Partner of PwC Hong Kong. Following Victor’s presentation, a question and answer session was moderated by Professor Sabrina Kwan from the Department of Accounting.
In collaboration with the HKUST Accounting Alumni Association and Accounting Students' Society, HKUSTSU, the event drew a full house of attendance. Please visit here to view the event photos.
