FinTech has become a bold word in many financial news headlines. It is not just about applications of technologies in financial services, but transformations of multiple sectors where transactions and payments take place. It is booming, attracting global investments and opening up opportunities.
On 30 October, we organized the first alumni sharing on FinTech featuring three alumni entrepreneurs, namely Samson Lee (MBA/MSc), Co-Founder of Ethereum South China and South Asia, Jonathan Lee (BBA FINA), Co-Founder of 300cubits and Bianca Ho (BBA GBUS), Co-Founder of Clare.AI. Following the insightful sharing by the speakers, a panel discussion moderated by Professor Kai-Lung Hui, Chair Professor and Deputy Head, Department of Information Systems, Business Statistics and Operations Management, was held. The event attracted a full house of attendance. For biographies of the speakers, please visit here.
