To welcome the New Year of 2021, HKUST Business School organized the inaugural Alumni New Year Virtual Networking for the business alumni community.
Hosted by the Dean Professor Kar Yan Tam, close to 150 alumni, Faculty members and student clubs’ Executive Committees enjoyed a wonderful 2-hour networking and celebration filled with great conversations, fun games and the exciting lucky draw of alumni companies’ products.
To create an almost in-person networking experience, the event was held on an interactive web based platform, where participants can flow freely and engage in themed small group conversation around specific table topics.
The event draw a good mix of alumni from different graduation years and programs, as well as different expertise areas from Venture Capital, Innovation, Entrepreneurship, Finance, Marketing to Wellness, Wine and Life.
