HKUST Alumni Reunion, the biggest homecoming in HKUST history, was held on November 24, 2018. With collaborated efforts across schools, departments and alumni groups, the reunion featured hundreds of programs including exhibitions, workshops, sports events as well as a marketplace showcasing innovative start-ups founded by our alumni.
At Lee Shau Kee Business Building, the climax of the day was the Ice Cream Social, with ice cream sponsored by Häagen-Dazs™ being served by our leadership including President Professor Wei Shyy, Vice President Dr Sabrina Lin, Dean Professor Kar Yan Tam, and Associate Deans Professor Emily Nason and Professor Anibran Mukhopadhyay. The School also invited MBA alumna Janet Lee, Industry Head of Google Hong Kong, to give a full-house talk entitled "Smart Marketing in the Age of Digital and Intelligence". Other highlighted programs at the Business School included “Little Professor” workshop, guided tours and exciting game booths.
