Do you know how to take control of your stress in a busy, modern life? On the evening of June 18 (Thu), HKUST Business School invites two experienced coaches – mind and body trainer Cavan Chan (MBA alumnus) and actor-instructor Natasha Jain – to guide you through a journey on how to optimize your mind and body to navigate your stress. 

Cavan and Natasha will use several techniques to help you reconsider your relationship with stress and manage it effectively. They will assist you in identifying your daily stressors and provide you with a range of tools that can be implemented in your daily life. These tools include theatre technique exercises that are renowned for building emotional resilience and ways to utilise food, sleep and external environments to maximise your wellbeing.

Cavan CHAN (MBA alumnus)

Graduated from HKUST MBA in 2013, Cavan is a passionate ICF-ACC certified coach and NASM certified trainer with a keen interest in optimizing his mind and body performance through various psychological and physiological Bio-Hacking routines. With an always-curious and life-long learning mindset, he is in constant pursuit of knowledge and refines his crafts (currently, certifying for Functional Medicine Health Coach). Combining the mind and body wellness management and leadership development, Cavan intents to empower everyone to become enduring leaders. With that mission in mind, Cavan founded GoalCraft, a professional training firm that equips leaders with a wholistic leadership development framework.

For the past 2 years, Cavan has been a regular guest trainer with top rank global Master/MBA programs, coaching communities, YWCA, co-working spaces (The Hives & WeWork), chambers of commerce, and corporates.

Natasha JAIN

Natasha is a British born actor in Hong Kong. She has been involved in a variety of well-known theatre productions such as A Midsummer Night’s Dream, The Craft, and the world premiere of The Butcher by Andrew Biss. Natasha directed her first stage performance in September 2019 with Teacup Productions, where she was the Assistant Director for several plays during 2017 and 2018. Natasha is also a voice-over artist, a radio presenter on Cultural Dimsum (a community show on RTHK), and an empathy vlogger on YouTube (@TashTalks). In addition, Natasha teaches drama to students and is a professional storyteller for children. She launched her own business working with private and corporate clients to help them unwind and de-stress using theatre techniques.

Before Natasha moved to Hong Kong, she worked at various law firms and banks and has a Law degree from the University of Warwick.
