July kicks off the new term year of Toastmasters and the HKUST MBA Alumni Toastmasters installed its 11th Club Executive Committee of Officers on July 8. Led by MBA Alumni and the Club’s founding president Charles Law as the 11th President, the Club aims to help members sharpen English public speaking, communications and leadership skills in professional and personal lives. 

An initiative for 2020/21 is launching a series of “Featured Events” to invite business leaders to talk business, share industry and leadership insights. 

With the theme “Innovation - Digital”, the coming ONLINE meeting on Wednesday evening, July 22 marks the first chapter of our special “Featured Events” series - [Talk Business].

"The only constant in life is change”. This cannot be more true in today’s world. In times of rapid change, disruptions, uncertainties and opportunities, we need innovation to keep business agile, stay in the game, moreover, ahead of the game.

The club is excited to have invited two HKUST MBA Alumni for the event - keynote speaker Richard Lee, Senior Vice President - Global Business Development of Li & Fung, and panel guest Marco Chen, Programs & Partnerships, Explorium Hong Kong join us to discuss “Digital Transformation in the Supply Chain Industry”.

This is an open event that welcomes all non-Toastmasters and non-UST affiliated guests and friends.
