Sibbald Park Picnic with Alumni in Ontario
On June 22, 2019, alumni in Ontario are organizing a Hong Kong Joint-University event at Sibbald Park. It wil be a fun day comprising of admiring birds, fishing and hiking. All alumni and families are welcome. Hurry and register for this relaxing and enjoyable get together!
Activities
| Birding Several species of birds make Sibbald Point a stopover on their migration north. Wild turkeys and Pileated woodpeckers are often seen. |
| Fishing Lake trout, bass, whitefish, pike, yellow pickerel and jumbo perch are abundant in Lake Simcoe. |

Hiking 1. Maidenhair Fern Trail 2.0 km, 1-1.5 hours (easy) 2. The Cultural History of Sibbald Point Provincial Park 1.0 km, 1-2 hours (easy) |
Facilities
| Barrier Free There are barrier-free washroom stalls at all comfort stations and barrier-free showers at the comfort stations located in the campground. |
| Comfort Station(s) There are 12 comfort stations (complete with showers) located throughout the campgrounds and day-use areas. All comfort stations are equipped with flush toilets. |
| Day Use Picnic areas can be found in quite, grassy locations throughout the park and at the main beach. Most are close to flush toilets and drinking water taps. |
| Park Store The Park Store sells groceries, fast food, ice cream, park souvenirs and camping supplies. It is open from May until September. |
| Picnic Shelters Group picnic shelters in the day-use area accommodate 50-75 people and can be reserved for weekend use. The picnic shelters are also audio device free. |

Entrance fee for each vehicle, regardless of number of occupants, is CAD20 and CAD16 for seniors.
