MBA Alumni Toastmasters Club — Hybrid Meeting with Featured Speaker Workshop
As AI starts performing more and more human jobs in the 21st-century workplace, effective communication & presentation have become one of the most important human skills to master. While Toastmasters is an ideal place for public speaking training for humans, will it be possible to have AI join the Toastmasters Club in future meetings? Or can AI even become speech trainer?
Welcome to join us in the MBA Alumni Toastmasters Club meeting on March 24, featuring Roland Leung, Founder & Managing Director of Datality Lab Limited. Ronald will introduce Moodie.ai, the world’s most comprehensive computer cognition system that (i) observes all verbal and non-verbal aspects of human communication, (ii) provides performance scoring and (iii) suggests improvements like human trainers will do. He will inspire the participants to think about how AI will change the future of human communication & presentation training.
Key takeaways
1. Why eLearning & Edtech have excelled at knowledge education but not skills training like communication
2. Why in the post-COVID-19 world we need more communications training than ever before
3. How AI mimics the human coaching experience with precision and adaptability
Ronald will speak for about 35-40 mins, with a Q&A session included. The remaining parts of the 2-hour meeting will be other standard Toastmasters sessions, including prepared speeches, impromptu speeches and evaluations.
- Participants can choose to join either at the physical venue or via zoom online.
- Registration required.
- Zoom details will be provided before the meeting.
