In the Innovator Tribank Fintech Challenge 2019, the judges are looking for breakthrough solutions to enhance banking experience for customers, and to solve real-life business problems. Selected teams will represent Hong Kong to compete with top teams from Shanghai and Taiwan to win over HKD400,000 cash prize and fabulous prizes. What's more, the teams can pitch their innovative ideas, prototypes or even solutions in front of a group of banking and FinTech leaders.

Event Schedule

• Now until April 12 (Friday): Submit your application form and send your proposal to designated email in PowerPoint format, video demo or any other relevant format with file size no more than 10Mb
• Shortlisted teams will be invited for an interview before Grand Final
• Grand Final@Cyberport - April 27 (Saturday): 3 selected teams will represent Hong Kong to enter the Grand Final to compete with winners from Shanghai and Taiwan
   

Team Requirements

• A team of 3 - 5 members
• Open to current full-time local university students or graduates in the past 3 years (including undergraduate and postgraduate)

Prizes in Grand Final

• Over HKD400,000 cash prize; Champion cash prize: HKD200,000
• Fast Pass to Cyberport Incubation program (Up to HKD500,000 to jumpstart your business)
• Once selected to enter the Grand Final, each team will receive free access to IBM Cloud platform up to 6 months
