Home Visit to Elderly in Sai Kung

There are a lot of elderly people in Hong Kong living in rural areas, and it is very inconvenient for them to go out. Therefore, the MBA Alumni Association (MBAAA) is joining hands with Sai Kung District Community Center to organize a series of visits to these senior citizens.
Participants will pay home visits to the elderly in Sai Kung every other month from December 2019 to June 2020; and there will be at least 10 volunteers each time. Volunteers will carry some health checking equipment and hike for half to one hour in Sai Kung to get to their homes and carry out simple health checkups for the elderly. The Association will provide training on hiking, communication with elderly people and also health checkup techniques before the event date.
- Cantonese speakers are preferred for easier communication with the elderly.
- The first visit (Dec 15) is subject to change depending on the number of registrations.
- MBAAA will contact the registered alumni for more details of the event.
Please contact MBAAA President, Thomas at mbaaa@ust.hk.
