HKUST x FTAHK: The Microfinance Exchange - A New Global Financial Market for Impact Investing
HKUST Business School and Fintech Association of Hong Kong (FTAHK) will jointly bring you a breakfast event, inviting Mr Bryan Kuhn to discuss the history of the Strategic Global Capital Companies and explore his team’s efforts to establish an international secondary market for microfinance notes. In particular, Mr Kuhn will be talking about how the formation of a global microfinance exchange would create new market opportunities and result in a positive social impact worldwide.

Mr Bryan Kuhn, ESQ, MSGF, MBA
Mr Bryan Kuhn founded the Strategic Global Capital Companies in the United States of America and Ecuador in 2010 and has been developing the business and its investment strategy for the past eight years. Through the SGC companies, Mr Kuhn has achieved significant experience purchasing microfinance note portfolios for investment purposes. He is a licensed attorney in the state of Colorado (USA), specializing in business and employment law. Through his law firm, Mr Kuhn also has considerable professional experience with international business deals. He received his BA from Carleton College and his JD (law degree) and MBA from the University of Denver. Furthermore, Mr Kuhn received a Master of Science in Global Finance from New York University and the Hong Kong University of Science and Technology.
