Although Silicon Valley is looked up to by Europe's younger start-up ecosystems like Berlin, Paris, Munich and Barcelona, Entrepreneurs in the Bay Area can gain huge advantages by looking to Europe, especially for today's disruptive technologies.

With a history of innovative ecosystems that goes back to Renaissance Italy, Europe offers at least six short cuts for creativity, scalability and global relevance.

Laura is a brand strategy and change management specialist with over 20 years of experience in industries being disrupted, transformed and globalized through technology.

An American entrepreneurial executive and Stanford graduate who now lives in Munich, she brings a Silicon Valley start-up mentality to European organizations facing inevitable change. Laura’s growth-driving leadership has developed highly creative international teams that successfully scale new, tech-enabled revenue streams with strong global-to-local brand strategies.

Most recently Laura has helped grow windeln.de from start-up to DAX IPO to international scale-up corporation. With a BA in Art History and currently enrolled in the GMBA program, Laura is happiest at the intersection of technology, design and business creating innovative, brand experiences that resonate across cultural barriers.
