EMBA Open Classroom Session: AI in the Workplace

EMBA Open Classroom Session: AI in the Workplace

Machine learning is beginning to transform the way businesses organize their operations and benefit from technology investments. And intelligent automation – the use of machines that understand their environments, interact with humans and other machines, learn from these experiences and apply what they learn to future decisions – is accelerating due to this change.

This human-machine interchange will introduce a new category of AI-enabled worker, in additional to today's blue, white, and gold collar workers. But realizing the value of this transformation requires more than technology investment. Companies must train employees to work with machines in new ways and redesign operations to optimize for automation; and the education system must evolve to support the future generation of technology-capable youths.

Welcome you join this open classroom session spoke by Professor Kar Yan Tam, Dean of the HKUST Business School and Professor Yan Xu, Executive Programs and China Strategy of HKUST EMBA Program.
