Belt and Road Business Plan Workshop by MBAAA

The MBA Alumni Association (MBAAA) has invited two alumni for an inspiring business plan workshop and an overview of the 2020 HK economic insights.
Representative from the Belt and Road International Professional Alumni Association Ltd (BRIPA) will be giving a workshop on how to design a new business that fits the "Belt and Road Initiatives" (BRI). BRI actualization requires focused planning and the 2.5 hours workshop is developed for such opportunity. There will be a short update on the recent BRI developments and group work. The workshop aims to visualize a business plan for the BRI or Greater Bay Area for further evaluation.
Speakers
Dr Robert Lai received his PhD from MIoIR The University of Manchester on innovation and related policy research. He was the Counsultant to the Dean Office and Visiting Scholor of HKUST Business School on the "Belt & Road Initiative". He has over 20 years of experience in international management, branding lecturing and consulting. He climbed up his career ladder from the position of trainee, Marketing Manager to Managing Director in a few large companies.
Tristan Zhuo is the head of economic and strategy research at Nanyang Commercial Bank and was formerly a senior economist at Bank of China (HK). He was the winner of Forecast Accuracy Award for China macro 2018 given by Consensus Econmics. He was also named best forecast for China by Focus Economics in 2019. Tristan was a member of HKUST MBA Class of 2011 and has 13 years in the financial services industry.
